The ENSI-MED VidPhone Launch
ENSI-MED International is a high technology company engaged in the design, development, production, and distribution of telemedicine solutions. We have chosen Butte, Montana as our global headquarters and as the place to launch our ENSI-MED VidPhone for telemedicine. We hope to bridge the gap between technology and healthcare for the betterment of patient care.
ENSI-MED's official kickoff begins Monday, July 23, 2007, at the Butte Civic Center with a very special guest speaker, Dr. Patch Adams of the Gesundheit! Institute. Dr. Adams is described as a "Medical doctor; Clown; Performer; Social Activist; Founder and Director of the Gesundheit! Institute ... Moving Speaker", and is a nationally known speaker on wellness, laughter, and humor as well as on health care and health care systems.
ENSI-MED recently began hiring staff from the local and surrounding communities for tech support, data entry, administration, management, and other positions. The initial number of staff to be hired from the community will be more than 50 people. Within the first three years the number of local community staff will increase to nearly 150 people.
The ENSI-MED VidPhone system offers a cost-effective, easily deployable solution to establishing a widely distributed and highly flexible video-conferencing network for healthcare providers, patients, and other members of the healthcare industry. The network will offer healthcare providers and the medical community a tool for collaboration including, but not limited to, expert medical consultation, Community Clinic Outreach, Mobile Surgical/Medicine Field Units, Clinical trial coordination, and Project coordination distance learning.
